The club meets on the second Wednesday of the month, except August, at The Square at Upminster.

Have you ever thought of joining a gentlemen’s club?  Are you wondering if you would fit in?  Why not come along to one of our lunch meetings, held at the The Square at Upminster, and find out for yourself?  You can be sure of a warm welcome.

If you wish to attend one of our meetings, you will need to book your lunch in advance by telephoning Robert Langstone, our Lunch Secretary, 01708 226705, or emailing him at upminsterprobus.lunch@gmail.com.  A three course lunch costs just £25, payable in cash, at the meeting.

Retirement can come too early for many people who want, and are able, to remain active.

Probus clubs are organisations for men and women who have retired from their professions or businesses and would like to maintain a social network with others in a similar position.

Probus clubs were first formed, as an acronym for Pro(fessional) and Bus(iness), in the early 1920s in Saskatchewan, Canada, and in New Haven, Connecticut, U.S.A.
