All Upminster & District Probus Club outings are organised jointly with the Deyncourt Ladies' Probus Group, which meets at the The Square at Upminster

Welcome to our outings for 2024 where we hope we have included something to interest everyone.   As we all know the cost of living has gone up somewhat but we have kept the costs as low as possible and they all include a lunch. 

​

Outing 1

 

APPLES AND OYSTERS     -     WEDNESDAY  1 MAY   Cost £48 per head - Coach, guide, lunch, coffee etc

 

Visit Faversham to see some of the 475 listed buildings, finest medieval street in England, orchards, weather board cottages and streets with eccentric names such as Squeeze Gut alley in Whitstable and sea air before turning home.

 

Outing 2

BURY ST EDMUNDS AND FULLERS MILL GARDEN     -     THURSDAY 4 JULY   Cost £55 per head - coach, guide coffee etc., lunch,

Visit the Abbey ruins, Rose Garden, Cathedral, water garden, Fullers Mill Garden by the River Lark and the Bothy tea room      

 

Outing 3

​

SUFFOLK - THE SNAPE AND ALDEBURGH    -    WEDNESDAY 4 SEPTEMBER    Cost £55 per head - coach, guide, coffee and cake, with lunch at Dunwich beach (by popular request).  A change to the 2023 Suffolk trip.

NOTES

1. Should any outing be oversubscribed we reserve the right to hold a ballot or where possible to run the outing on another day.

2. If you are interested in any of these outings and you will know you will be absent from the lunch when the board is circulated PLEASE let us know in advance and we will put your name down.

3. Friends who are not members of DL or UD are welcome to join us as they have done in the past but if the outing is oversubscribed preference will be given to members and their guests.

4. All descriptions of tours are correct at the time of going to press, but we cannot be held responsible for any alteration, omission, or cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control.
